I have wanted a new tattoo for a while but I didn't know what I wanted or where I wanted to get it. Then I found inspiration! I still haven't figured out the where (well I have but my better judgement tells me not to get one there) but I figured out the WHAT!
First, I would like to start off by saying that I like symbol tattoos that are all black. This is evidenced by the two I already have...
This tattoo is on my hip. It means happiness in kanji. This is the first one I got when I was nineteen.
This one I got right before I left for NC with my best friend Ash. We both got tats on the back of our necks, although different symbols. Mine is a Pisces symbol.
And this is the design of the one that I want to get now! I will tell you where I got my inspiration for it...but you have to promise not to laugh.
It's from Supernatural (the TV show). It is the tattoo Sam and Dean (the characters in the show) got to protect them from evil. The pentagram in the middle is a plaited pentagram which has been a protective sign against evil powers originating from the Western world and Japan.
So now it leaves me with the dilemma of WHERE to get it. I really want to get it on my wrist but that is always an issue when it come to job hunting, which is why I have not gotten one there yet. Otherwise, I would have one there already. So now I sit to ponder where to get it..and save up money for it!

I like the new tattoo idea. Maybe you could get in on your inner ankle or lower back? I am thinking of getting one for my 40th b-day (hopefully my father isn't reading this) and not sure if I am really ready to take the plunge! Also, I need both a tattoo design and location. Now I know who to reach out to for consultation!

I like all your tats Big Lil Cuz. If you get it on your wrist you can get always wear a watch or a bracelet to cover it up. Just throwing that out there.

I want to get another tattoo too! I think we may have discussed this but I have the Chinese words for "Happiness" on my hip and it doesn't really look like yours. I always wonder what mine "really" says... I like your idea for your new tat. Have you thought about getting the NBC Peacock symbol, though? That would really show your love of TV. Oh, but it's colorful...
Oh, and I have my body part picked out (outer thigh), the date I'm getting my new one (Jan. 10) - I just need what to figure out what I want to mark my body up with for the rest of my life.
